Brahvex began as a management and risk consulting practice in New Delhi serving clients across India, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Working inside audits and compliance reviews, we saw the same problem everywhere: skilled professionals spending most of their time on mechanical checking, data chasing and formatting, and too little on judgement.
Why we built Brahvex
Most audit and compliance work in India still runs on spreadsheets, email and tools built for a different profession. The result is thin coverage, hard-to-evidence reviews and reports that take longer to produce than the work they describe.
So we built the tools we wanted to use. Today Brahvex offers a family of platforms for statutory audit, internal audit, tax compliance, RBI regulation, bank audit and concurrent audit, alongside our advisory practice.
AI agents do the legwork. Every output lands in a review queue. Nothing reaches a client, a regulator or a report until a manager or partner approves it.
Our principles
- The professional signs. Our software prepares, tests and drafts. Conclusions belong to the person accountable for them.
- Evidence over assertion. Every number, finding and status should be traceable to its source.
- Indian rules first. We build around the laws, standards and regulators our clients answer to.
- Plain language. Reports should be readable by a Board member, not just a specialist.
The name
Brahvex joins 'Brah', from the Sanskrit Brahman — the idea of an all-pervading intelligence — with 'vex', a suffix suggesting sharpness and precision. Brahvex stands for intelligence in focused action.
Devashish Rawat, ACA

Devashish has spent over 16 years doing for large institutions what Brahvex now does for smaller ones: examining how a business actually runs, identifying where controls fail, and helping fix them.
A Chartered Accountant, he built and scaled risk advisory practices at KPMG, Deloitte and Grant Thornton, leading teams of up to 30 and advising boards and senior management across India, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. His work has spanned banks and NBFCs, housing finance and fintech, hospitality, power and public sector enterprises.
His engagements include internal financial controls frameworks across a public sector financial group and its 11 subsidiaries, operational risk frameworks at a small finance bank, and independent assurance over the post-merger integration of two of the UAE's largest banks.
Much of his career has been spent inside the institutions NBFCs and fintechs approach for credit: testing their compliance, auditing their lending processes and seeing how credit decisions are actually made. When Brahvex flags a regulatory gap, it is not a guess.
He is a Certified Independent Director (IICA) and holds a data science certification from IIM Kozhikode, with executive study in AI leadership at ISB.
